BeSealed® Water Swellable Paste

Chemical Base

High-quality, water-swellable single-component polyurethane adhesive.

Swelling Characteristics

• Adhesive bead, when fully immersed in water at 23°C.

Application Instructions

• No primer is necessary when applying BeSealed® swellable paste to a clean concrete surface.
• For the best adhesion, the surface should be stable, clean, and free from dust, oil, and grease. If needed, cleaning with acetone or isopropanol is advised.
• Optimal fixation is achieved when the entire contact area of the water-swellable sealing bar is covered with the paste.
• After applying the paste, press down the water-swellable sealing bar to ensure full contact with the paste beneath and to achieve optimal adhesion.

Storage Conditions

• Store for a maximum of 9 months from the production date in its original, unopened carton.
• It is recommended to keep in a dry, cool place with temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
