FirePro High Expansion Sealant  - The nature of the composition ensures it expands at temperatures of 135ºc and up, reinforcing the integrity of penetration seals and stopping flames and smoke from passing through. Offering up to four hours' fire protection, this innovative intumescent sealant is ideal for use on both combustible and noncombustible pipes as well as single cables, bunches, insulated metallic pipes and other permanent services. Fully tested to EN1366-3 & 4 and classified to EN13501, this high-performance product from Rockwool is also CE marked for further peace of mind. Clean joints ahead of use, making sure all dirt, grease and other contaminators are removed. It's possible to use this sealant on damp wood, plaster or brick but ensure that the surface is not running wet. Any porous surfaces will need cleaning with a mechanical abrasion before application. After application, some shrinkage will occur so if you require a completely flush finish, ensure you fill the joint slightly proud of the surface.
