Flat Base Spacers

Provides stable support for reinforcing steel in ground floor slabs, with a wide base to prevent puncturing of polythene film. Also ideal for vertical applications in ground beams.

A highly stable heavy-duty mesh spacer, capable of withstanding vertical loads up to 100 kg. Its wide base distributes mesh weight to prevent perforation of damp proof and gas membranes, while the clipping mechanism prevents rotation on vertical formwork. Manufactured to BS7973-1:2001 standards.

The Type 1 spacer offers similar characteristics to the Heavy Duty Flat Base Clip-On spacer for purely horizontal applications. It features the largest base area in the range, providing superior stability and minimising the risk of membrane perforation when supporting mesh reinforcement.
