GP Primer is a specially formulated low-viscosity primer, diluted with an aromatic hydrocarbon for enhanced damp substrate tolerance and superior membrane bonding compared to traditional bituminous primers. Its black colour and high mobility make it suitable for application on green concrete, masonry, metal, and wood surfaces.

Key Features:

• Quick drying: Achieves drying performance within 30-60 minutes, outperforming water-based systems and aliphatic solvent-based primers.
• Versatile application: Effective on a variety of surfaces including mild steel, Zinc, Lead, lightweight concrete screeds, asbestos cement, and slate.
• Temperature tolerance: Can be applied in temperatures as low as freezing point.
• Storage stability: Designed to withstand typical storage conditions, though extreme temperatures should be avoided.

Applications:

GP Primer enhances adhesion for bituminous waterproofing systems and sheet coverings. It is essential for preparing surfaces that are smooth, clean, and free from contaminants such as oil and grease.
