GP TITANBOND Overtape is a high-performance adhesive fleece-backed tape, engineered for sealing joints within GP TITANTECH waterproofing systems. Designed to prevent the ingress of water, water vapour, air, and gas, this tape is ideal for use in building construction with damp proof membranes, vapour control layers, and ground gas barriers.

Applications:

GP TITANBOND Overtape is essential for sealing joints in GP TITANBOND membranes, preventing concrete from infiltrating joint areas. It is suitable for use across a range of temperatures from +5 to +40°C. To achieve optimal adhesion, surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from frost, grease, and loose materials. Apply the tape directly from the reel, pressing along the application length, then remove the backing paper and press firmly to secure the opposite surface. For best results, use a silicone roller to apply pressure to the taped joints.

Handling & Storage Instructions:

Store GP TITANBOND Overtape flat in its original packaging in cool, dry conditions to maintain its shelf life of approximately 24 months. Ensure surfaces are prepared adequately before application to maximise effectiveness.
