    Kryton Crack Inducing Waterstop

Kryton Crack Inducing Waterstop K-341 is a specialised product designed to create a waterproof crack control joint.

Integrated within the Krystol Waterstop System and in tandem with Krystol Waterstop Grout, Kryton Crack Inducing Waterstop demonstrates exceptional resistance against waterborne chemicals. It is particularly suited for applications where access is restricted, such as blindside installations. Positioned strategically, it serves to confine cracking to controlled areas, thereby preventing water ingress through unmanaged shrinkage cracks.

    How It Works

Kryton Crack Inducing Waterstop is affixed to the concrete formwork or shoring wall, with a corresponding keyway fashioned directly opposite. Once the concrete is poured, controlled cracking initiates from the Crack Inducing Waterstop through to the keyway. Subsequently, Krystol Waterstop Grout is tightly compacted into the keyway, reinforcing the barrier.

    Product Benefits

    • Enables precise placement of control joints
    • Exceptionally durable
    • Manages concrete cracks effectively, reducing maintenance requirements

    Applications

Integral to the Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) Admixture System for cast-in-place concrete and shotcrete walls. Components of this system are indispensable for:

    • Planned and incidental shotcrete cold joints
    • Management of crack control joints
